Cassie Gannis, 19, will be appearing at the Driving MBA and Red Means Stop Safety Fair, May 1 2010 from 11 AM-3 PM at Paradise Memorial Gardens 9300 E Shea Blvd Scottsdale, AZ.
"I am so thrilled to be attending this safety day event." said Gannis. "It has been a passion of mine to speak to young people on the dangers of texting and driving."
Upcoming, Gannis will compete in Super Late Model #7 at Tucson Raceway Park, April 24. She has raced her Super Late at TPR for the past 3 years where she consistently places in the top 5. She will racing full time at Tucson Raceway Park along with racing at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale California and Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
In addition to racing, she is frequently a guest speaker for teen driving safety issues on behalf of Boys and Girls Clubs of Arizona, CHP Designated Drives Program and AAA of Southern California.
